Worcester Park needed a penalty 11 minutes from the end to gain a 1-1 draw with visitors Westfield in the Cherry Red Combined Counties Division 1 on Saturday.

Park created several half chances, the best of which saw Dean Bird's shot touched on to the post by the visitors keeper.

Westfield came more into the game and, when home keeper Peter king could not hold a fierce shot, Carl Cheney cleared the follow up effort off the line.

Cheney made another goal-line clearance in the second-half, but Westfield went ahead on the hour when Moore's 20-yard free-kick went through the defensive wall to beat the unsighted King.

Park equalised on 79 minutes when Knowles was brought down and Callaghan slotted home the resultant penalty. Chin broke through for the visitors but hit the post.

Park seconds recorded a resounding 14-2 victory at Cobham, but the thirds lost 8-1 to St. Andrews Reserves.
