Esher chief Mike Schmid reckons front row trio David Millard, Ollie Mines and Neil Sweeney will have the club on the front foot for a National Division One title challenge next term.
The three forwards comitted their immediate futures to the club this week to add to news influential skipper Ian Kench and centre Tom Cheeseman would also be plying their trades at Molesey Road next term.
Schmid expects others to follow suit during the course of the summer with a number of new faces expected to bolster the squad to challenge title favourites Ealing trailfinders and Rosslyn Park next term.
“Having these guys in our ranks allows us to play however we want,” he said.
“They are talented, dependable rugby players who will give us much solidity and go forward in the tight, but they also add real value to other areas around the club.
“There is plenty of work to be done over the next few months, and that process couldn’t have started in any better fashion than signing up five men who will give everything to our cause.”
