Rosslyn Park remain third in National League One after a six-try (38-17) win over Loughborough last Saturday.
Despite a "wobble" at the beginning of the second half, when they conceded two tries in 10 minutes, it was a professional performance by Park in a match nearly ruined by the strong winds.
Two tries apiece from scrum half Luke Carter and winger Joe Ajuwa, backed up by tries from Sam Shires and Richard Boyle saw Park home.
Tomorrow, Park make the short journey to Hertfordshire, to play relegation-threatened Old Albanian, whom they beat by 38-3 at Roehampton earlier this season.
However, Park will be showing maximum respect to the opposition after last season’s match at Woolams Field.
Park were leading by three points with only 14 men on the field when OA were awarded a last second penalty under the posts.
They opted for a scrum, which Park resisted to escape with the points.
Head coach Alex Codling said, “I was very pleased to get the win and the five points against a very threatening Loughborough side.
“We started slowly in both halves but scored some excellent tries when we got into a rhythm.
“There some really positive signs with our attacking intent which was pleasing but still lots to work on."
He added: “Old Albanians, despite their position in the league, have been strong at home and were extremely close to beating Coventry in their last home game so it will be a big challenge but one the boys are looking forward to."
