Old Mid-Whitgiftian put three consecutive defeats behind them to take the bragging rights off Purley John Fisher on Saturday.
A 45-22 win at Sanderstead was only the Old Mids' second success this season, and their first since the opening day on September 19.
It lifted them off the foot of the London Division Three South West table to level points with PJF.
This weekend, PJF host Battersea Ironsides, while Old Mid-Whitgifitan travel to Teddington.
