Ealing Trailfinders coach Alex Codling has raided his former club Rosslyn Park for the services of back-row Mike MacFarlane.
It means the 27-year-old will be plying his trade in the Greene King Championship next season despite missing out with Park in National League One this season.
MacFarlane has experience of the second tier of English rugby having featured for Esher, as well as representative experience from England U18 and Students.

"I have always wanted to play professional rugby and having the chance to do so with a club such as Ealing Trailfinders is a great opportunity,” he said.
"I was really impressed by the set up at Ealing Trailfinders when I came to visit the club, and I am looking forward to playing Championship rugby again.”
MacFarlane spent two years at The Rock and scored nine tries in 60 matches.
He played in both matches between Ealing Trailfinders and Rosslyn Park as they battled it out for promotion from National League One in 2014-15.
"Mike was outstanding during my time at Rosslyn Park and has once again been a stand out performer in the division this season,” Codling said.
"I am very much looking forwarding to seeing what he can do with us in the Championship.”
