Kingston 16 Croydon 17
Kingston suffered their first league defeat of the Surrey League One season after starting poorly and letting in two tries with some weak defending - part of their game that had been a strength all season.
Larry Weeks reduced the deficit with penalties either side of the interval, but it was not until the second half that Kingston started to up their game.
Damien Cunningham scored Kingston's two tries, the second coming in the last play of the game.
Unfortunately for Kingston, the conversion was missed, handing Croydon victory.
This Saturday, Kingston will look for a much improved performance against their closest rival Old Alleynians.
