Grasshoppers made a great recovery to record a 24-22 success, their eighth league victory in a row, at Haringey on Saturday, writes Pete Baveystock.
Kicking up the slope in the first half, Grasshoppers trailed 17-0 after 38 minutes thanks to two soft converted tries and a penalty.
But a vital score came just before half-time when Grasshoppers ran the ball along the line for Chris Dickson to go over.
The visitors gradually got on top in the second half and the pressure told when skipper Matt Nemeth got a try and Gerwyn Hughes' conversion reduced the arrears to 17-12.
Then number eight Schaun Heyliger, the man-of-the-match, got a try and Hughes' conversion took Grasshoppers into the lead.
Haringey came off the ropes like a stunned fighter to throw everything at Grasshoppers and were rewarded with a converted try of their own.
But Grasshoppers maintained their winning run late on when full-back Jeremy Easton went in under the posts to level the game and Hughes' conversion stole two league points.
Grasshoppers host top-of-the-table Finchley this Saturday (2.30pm).
