Old Wimbledonians 0 Old Reigatian 32
In superb playing conditions Wimbledonians had to give way to a stronger and more drilled Reigatian outfit for the second time in London Three South West this season.
Unfortunately suffering a couple of injuries in the first half which required replacements to be introduced, OWs went behind from a couple of successful penalties and a try.
An 11-0 scoreline still gave the home side a glimmer of a chance. The occasional forward drives of the first half could not be repeated after the interval, however, and an early converted try from Reigatians gave them a more comfortable position.
A more serious ankle injury to one of the OW props meant that he could not be moved from the field of play. It was then agreed to take the match to an alternative pitch where the visitors settled down immediately. Their fast and confident backs used the possession well and with two further converted tries ran out deserved winners and left OWs still without a point this season.
