Under-strength Old Wimbledonians crashed 51-5 at Guernsey in London Three South-West on Saturday.
It was third time unlucky for the Old Boys, who had won on their previous two visits to the channel islanders.
Despite the score, however, the Old Boys played with much more conviction than last weekend.
On several occasions they came close to scoring but had only one success when skipper Dave Robertson ran in superbly from the centre for a try in the first half.
By halftime Guernsey had notched three tries for an 18-5 lead and with strong forwards and a particularly fast winger they took the victory to stay in third spot in the league.
