London Welsh coach Martin Jones has urged his side to build on Saturday's demolition of Launceston as the aim to end the season on a high.
Jones watched with delight as the Exiles ran in five tries to brush aside their Cornish visitors 38-0 and move towards the relative comfort of mid-table in National League One.
And Jones admitted it was great to see his side end a run of three successive defeats.
Jones said: "It was one of our better performances of the season that was for sure.
"We started well and we knew that if we just kept the ball we would go on to win pretty comfortably. The big boys stepped up and it was a great all-round display."
Welsh ran in five tries through Wame Lewaravu (two), Paul Sampson, Greg Nicholls and a penalty try to end Launceston's run of five straight wins.
And Jones found it hard to pinpoint exactly what had pleased him most.
"We simplified the lineout and that worked well and our scrummaging was immense," he said. "I was also very pleased to keep them to a zero.
"I cannot remember the last time that happened in a game at Old Deer Park - even the supporters couldn't tell me."
The Exiles visit Newbury this weekend for a rearranged league game as they bid to climb the table.
With two points separating four teams, Welsh have a great opportunity to boost their profile ahead of a planned summer recruitment drive.
Jones added: "It is such a tight league and any team in the middle of the table is capable of beating each other.
"We have to look to push things forward and finish as high as we can."
