London Welsh are hopeful that a possible takeover deal is just days away after further talks with parties were held this week.
The RFU announced this week that they are giving the Dragons until Friday July 17 to have a plan in place - and Gareth Roberts of administrators Tenon Recovery insists that is more than enough time.
He said: "We are at a very advanced stage with one of the interested parties and we are hoping the deal will be concluded early next week.
"It is not a done deal, and I have had many such deals blow up in my face, but it looks promising.
"The RFU have given a week deadline which is ample time, and we expect to have some good news early next week."
