Florent Rossigneaux insists it is simply a matter of time until his Rosslyn Park side are firing on all cylinders as the Priory Lane outfit look to claim their first bonus point of the season.
Park have won both of their opening two league fixtures, but as was so often the case last season, have failed to claim a bonus point, a fact that sees them stuck in mid-table.
But with a visit to Richmond looming this weekend, Rossigneaux reckons things will soon come good.
He said: “I sat down after we won at Barnes and it was only when I watched the video I realised we were fielding seven new players from last year.
“I still think there is a basic lack of trust among the players.
“When you are not familiar with the players around you you tend to play it safe, and although I do not think our philosophy will change much, the execution certainly will.”
Rosslyn were without a game last weekend due to the demise of Mounts Bay, but Rossigneaux felt that hiatus proved a blessing in disguise.
He added: “It worked out nicely as it gave me the opportunity to watch the second team play.
“We have some injuries at the moment, and there is no doubt that there will be more injuries to come, so it gave me the chance to run the rule over some players who may be stepping up in the near future.”
Park will make the short journey to Richmond this weekend to face a side that has lost two of its three games, but Rossigneaux is refusing to read too much into that.
He added: “I am still pretty sure Richmond will be up there challenging come the end of the season.
“They have not had the best start, but we will certainly not be taking them lightly.”
Rosslyn Park’s next three fixtures: Sep 26 Richmond (a), Oct 3 Lydney (h), 10 Barking (a)
