Mitcham went down to a 40-13 defeat at Old Tiffinians in their first league game of the season, writes Liam Dewsbury.
Old Tiffs had the majority of the possession and territory on a warm dry day, which suited their quick back play.
A spirited second-half performance saw Mitcham score tries from Freddie Southwell and Sam Bardwell, but Tiffs were too strong on the day and ran out deserved winners.
