Teddington U13 kicked off their Herts Middlesex League Division One campaign with a last-gasp 27-24 win at Bishop’s Stortford.
There was an unusual finish as Teddington scored a try at the end, but the conversion was came back off the post. However, the resultant clearance kick to end the game was sliced into goal for a Teddington player to touch down for the winning try.
Teddington U13B lost 17-14 at Bishop’s Stortford B, while a depleted U14s lost 20-5 to Tring in their first outing since winning promotion to Division One.
