Twickenham retained fifth place in London South West Two despite losing 19-16 to local rivals London Irish Amateurs on Saturday.
Ts have yet to win away from home whilst Irish picked up only their third win of the season so far.
Irish started strongly but Ts defended well and fifteen minutes in got the first points with a penalty by Luke Scarborough.
Irish equalised with a penalty ten minutes later and their first try from a rolling maul ten minutes after that taking a half-time lead of 13-3.
Despite being the stronger side on the day, Ts made too many mistakes which allowed Irish to stay in the game.
The score remained for the next 15 minutes and then Ts scored two penalties to Irish’s one.
With ten minutes left on the clock scrum-half Tom Eastham scored a try from a quick penalty and Scarborough converted to even the score at 16-16.
But Ts felt that the penalty that restored Irish's advantage was dubious and, after that,Irish held on to win 19-16.
