Florent Rossigneaux reckons he has a selection headache of the pleasant variety after seeing a much-changed Rosslyn Park side romp to victory at Westcombe Park last weekend.

Park’s 75-3 win at the National League Two South strugglers equalled Rosslyn’s biggest ever league points tally, despite missing the likes of Ross Laidlaw, Dylan Pugh and Ollie Lyndsay-Hague.

And Rossigneaux admits he will have a tough task picking his side for the trip to Canterbury this weekend after the 13-try demolition.

He said: “I have always known we have a squad of players here who can really step up to the level required and Saturday proved that.

“My whole ethos is that I never want players to rest on their laurels.

“We are trying to implement a system of going about our business here and getting players to buy into that system.

“Obviously it will be difficult to drop players after a display like that but my thinking has always been to judge players on a series of games, rather than just one performance.

“But we have a rwal competition for places here now and that can only be good for the team as a whole.”

Paul Unseld (four), Rob Jewell (two), Mark Lock (two), Chris Ritchie (two), Billy O’Driscoll, Marc Sweeney and Jon Underwood helped themselves to tries as Park ran riot.

And Rossingeaux wants more of the same this weekend as his side look to keep the pressure on leaders Ealing.

He added: “Paul is beginning to show a real maturity at this level and he fully deserved those tries.

“But it was very much a team effort.

“Winning away from home is a habit and we have it.

“We have always known that if we can recreate our home form on the road we have a good chance of success this season and things are beginning to fall into place.”
