Epsom College girls ran out 70-5 winners over Christ’s Hospital in their second warm-up game of the season.
After a tentative start, in which the girls seemed more concerned about getting their new orange match shirts dirty, Epsom’s pace and power proved too hot for Christ’s to live with and tries came from Emma Albon (three), Natalie Sciver (two), Milly Shopland, Wendy Sun, Katy Everett, Tamsin Barber and Lowri Needham.
The win builds on a similarly dominant performance against Eastbourne College and augurs well for the Christ’s Hospital School Sevens tournament on Sunday, March 7, and the national sevens later this term.
Coach Tom Doran said: “All 12 girls put in a great performance. It was a good learning experience for some of the younger players and a great start to the season.”
