The national 16 Group selectors have announced an England U16 squad of 26 players and an extended England U16 A squad of 28 players who will train together at Warwick School this weekend (February 27-28) as preparations continue for the international fixtures in April.
The England Under 16 squad includes 12 backs and 14 forwards, while the extended A squad comprises 13 backs and 15 forwards.
Local players in the England U16 squad include wing Jordan Burns, of Epsom College, back row Harry Ledger, of Whitgifts School, and full-back Anthony Watson, of St George’s College.
In the England U16 A squad are full-back Guy Bentley, of Hampton College, lock Thomas Hilton-Stevens, of RGS Guildford and scrum-half Simon Sexton, of Wellington College.
