Purley John Fisher have secured a mid-table finish in London Two South East after scraping to victory at Deal & Bettishanger on Saturday.

Three Dom Brown hat-tricks proved enough for PJF, who dogged out a result against awkward opposition.

The forwards worked hard and met their hosts face on in all areas of confrontation, James Quigley, Steve Brown, Neil and Tom Leather did the hard graft in securing and retaining possession.

The PJF backs worked hard to ensure that the constant flow of ball was rewarded with good territorial advantage.

Although the home side produced the matches only try - a half way break and sprint for the line - it was PJF's better discipline that saw them sneak the win.

An area that had blighted them earlier in the season became their ally as their opponents fringed, handled and contested refereeing decisions allowing Brown to slot the required kicks, easing PJF into the winners seat.
