Epsom College first XV continued their rich vein of form with Saturday’s 43-3 win over Harrow School.
Epsom started brightly with Ed Rosen kicking a long range penalty and flying winger Jordan Burns scoring a well worked try after 10 minutes.Rosen converted to give Epsom a 10-0 lead.
As the college side tried to play too expansively, Harrow gradually worked their way into the game and scored a penalty to take the score to 10-3.
Sustained pressure on the Epsom line was only relieved when the Harrow kicker missed another easy penalty chance.
As half-time approached,quick inter-passing released Jordan Burns for his second unconverted try to put Epsom 15-3 ahead.
In the second half, it was one-way traffic as Epsom played their best rugby of the season so far.
A lineout catch and drive was expertly driven over for a try, credited to Cameron Jeffrey and converted by Ed Rosen.
Jordan Burns completed his hat trick before further tries from Alex Aves and Tom Harty. All were converted by Rosen.
