Purley John Fisher are left languishing at the bottom of London Three South East after Saturday’s 27-18 defeat by fellow strugglers Warlingham, writes Martin Bruck.
Positives for PJF were few and far between although two pushover tries and a penalty try highlighted some form of forward dominance in the type.
However, the visitors were able to capitalise on wrong options as PJF’s lack of togeteherness caused by a third consecutive week of heavy personnel changes showed through.
Tony Mawer led his third XV from the front with two splendid tries as PJF thirds demolished Walcountians 55-0.
A brace each from Matt Milner and newcomer and man-of-the-match Stuart Hawkins provided good back up, with Richard Cutbill, Bob Scarborough and Richard Beeby also scoring tries.
