Purley John Fisher went down 30-19 in their London South East Two derby clash with Old Mid-Whitgiftians on Saturday.
The drizzling weather was not in a forgiving mood for the PJF players playing out of position and a slippery ball, breezy wind and driving rain led to plenty of handling errors.
Phil Jones scored two tries for PJF who also benefitted from a penalty try. Tom Leather was their man of the match for his efforts playing out of position at scrum-half.
