Mitcham, missing skipper Mark Whittall through work commitments and fly-half Liam Dewsbury and centre Peter Zsitvai through injury, went down 35-11 at a strong World Old Boys team in Surrey Three on Saturday, Tony Antoniou.
Despite some early possession and drives by the Mitcham forwards it was Worth that took the lead from an early penalty and a breakaway try.
Mitcham hit back with some good pressure which Worth could not handle and gave away a succession of penalties, two of which were converted by Carl Donaldson.
As Mitcham started to get back into the game fly half Wayne Bryant had to leave the field with a shoulder injury. A try just before the break saw Mitcham trailing 20-6.
A mix up at the start of the second half in the home defence allowed winger Ryan Burgess to sprint half the length of the field to score.
However his joy was short lived as he was later carried off with a severe leg injury and was joined by the other winger Dane Tuck who also had to leave the field.
This was the cue for Worth to rub salt into Mitcham's wounds with three late tries.
Mitcham are at home on Saturday in a league game against London Media where a pre-match reunion of former players is planned.
