Donhead Preparatory School in Wimbledon enjoyed the most successful weekend in the school's rugby history.
On Saturday, March 5th, Donhead were victorious at both the Donhead U10 (Year 5) Rugby Festival and the U11A Team (Year 6) were successful at the St Benedict's 7's in Ealing.
The following day the U8A Team (Year 3) were Runners-Up at the National Preparatory Schools Rugby Tournament held at Epsom College, while the U11A Team went one stage further by winning the National Preparatory Schools Rugby Tournament and becoming National Champions for the first time.
After proceeding through the group stages, the U11A Team defeated The Beacon School from Amersham in the quarter final, Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, Wakefield in the semi-final and Blundell's School, Devon, in a keenly contested final.
