Jan Bonney insists there is a simple solution to Rosslyn Park's good form - hard work.

Miles Mantella scored two tries and Dan Lloyd-Jones, Steve Parsons, Dom Shabbo and Dan Richmond also crossed the whitewash as Park recorded their seventh win in eight matches with a 40-18 victory against a combative Sedgley Park side.

With league leaders Ealing Trailfinders crashing to defeat at Macclesfield, third-place Park are just nine points off top spot and Bonney's winning formula is simple.

"We work hard in areas we think we need to work hard on," he said.

"Our defence has been good and we have worked hard on it and combining it with our attacking game.

"We only think one game at a time and right now we are looking to Birmingham & Solihull on Saturday.

"From outside the club it looks like it will be an easy five-point win.

"But it is another game we have to concentrate on as they are a good side and we will not be taking it lightly."

Sedgley kept Park honest on Saturday with the scores at 19-18 with 30 minutes to go before Park stepped up a gear and strode to victory.

"That was the most encouraging thing as it could easily have gone down to the wire," added Bonney.
