A businesses man for Hampton decided to change his regular suit and tie for 25 different dressing up outfits. He intends to wear one everyday for 25 days to make a quarter of a century of Red Nose Day.

Giles Dempsey has already caught the publics’ eye whilst on his way to Fulham where he attended client meetings, pitches and creative briefings.

So far his collection has included a diver, dinosaur, banana, penguin, panda, spaceman, Buzz Lightyear and Edward Scissorhands.

The 36-year-old confessed it was challenge getting to and from work but he says he has received some interesting reactions including going to his first antenatal class.

But he said the highlight was the England vs France rugby match at Twickenham Stadium. On this particular day he was wearing a Wally costume for a huge Where’s Wally in front of an amazing 80,000 crowd. He said: “Its a universally recognized character that both the French and English know.”

The idea sprung upon him after the positive response when he dressed up as a Banana with his brother a few years ago.  He said he found it really uplifting and made a dull day into something so much better for everyone.”

The business director’s challenge began on Tuesday 19th February and has already raised more than £1,000 for Comic Relief.

He has also attracted support from comedian Rob Brydon and rugby player Scott Quinnell, who have promoted his twitter account in order to boost sponsorship. His twitter account is @25outfits.
