Thursday, the 21st of March, the Oxford and Cambridge Student Conference will be held at the Epsom Race Course. The conference will provide current information on the application and admissions procedure at both Oxford University and Cambridge University. These institutions will give an insight into student life. Interested high school students and parents will be able to visual a college experience in these two universities. The conferences will cover courses available, student life, processes of admission and application, student finance, careers, and interviews. Admission tutors will be presented. Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet the academic staff and current undergraduates from both universities that will be available to answer students’ questions.

For those who want a larger variety of universities to choose from, a much bigger convention will be taking place on Tuesday, the 19th of March. The Surrey UCAS Convention covers UK application processes for many universities.  It will give students the opportunity to meet and talk with representatives from over one hundred and fifty high education institutions from all over UK. General presentations on key areas of interest will run throughout the day. These presentations will cover UCAS application processes and student financial options.

Both conferences would give students all over Surrey an excellent chance to plan for the career they want to apply to in college. They will provide the students with an abundant amount of information, including the readily available staff that will try to answer most of their questions. For many, choosing a major could be an indecisive challenge. One of the main purposes of these conferences is to present the various fields of interest available for all applicants. These two conferences will certainly be extremely fruitful for all students interested in apply to a UK university.
