So here we are again, March is just around the corner and we’re all starting to look forward to those hazy long summer days, when you could do anything you wanted and don’t even have to think about school. But then we realise that in fact it’s only February and we have to wait 5 months until we reach summer. AND we still have to get through those gruelling summer exams...

So what do we have to be excited for? For me, around now I start to get excited for spring! Spring is the time that we all get to stop wearing those long black winter coats and put on a lighter jacket. Spring is the time when flowers start to bloom and you taste an ice cream for the first time in a year. For me spring is amazing.

But is March really spring? March is famous for it’s chilling winds and sometimes it even snows! So can March really be said to be the first month of spring? I often work my self up to expect that I will wake up on the first of March and suddenly find it to be 30 degrees with bright sunshine. But alas, that is most certainly NOT the case. It is often exactly like February, cold and rainy.

So March isn’t going to be what I expect is it? I mean we do live in the UK, a place notoriously known to be freezing! Guess I’ll just have to wait till April...
