Gumley House Convent School for Girl's prepare for yet another charity day. Gumley House, a local school in Isleworth are making plans and finishing up the final touches to what is to be a 'Disney' inspired charity day. The school spends multiple days throughout the school year to raise money for different organisations.

Gumley's charity days focus on others, and giving to those in need, following traditional catholic ethics. On this particular charity day the students are asked to make an initial donation of £1 to have the opportunity to dress up as a Disney character. Throughout the day students from multiple years will raise money in various ways to make as much money as possible. It is undecided where the money will go until they have the grand total, once Gumley have chosen a charity , they donate every penny made on the day. The only event Gumley holds where all money raised goes to the school is at the annual summer fete.

Past charity days have been a massive success. In the past years they've hosted a rowathon, where students participated in teams to raise money and more recently Gumley have taken part in Cancer Research's Race For Life, where all the years ran round Gumley's grounds in order to raise money for Women and their families who are affected or diagnosed with Breast Cancer.

Every charity day so far has been a great success filled with the joy of giving to those in need and I have no doubt tomorrows won't be an exception!
