Is it a bird! Is it a plane! Oh wait, no it’s some lunatic prancing around in his underwear. We’ve all heard of superman and we’ve all heard of Einstein but I am here to determine whether it would be better to be Einstein or Superman. It’s the brains versus brawn debate isn’t it? But imagine this you’re the strongest, fastest, bravest man on the earth yet he’s homeless on the streets looking for something to eat, I ask you how did this happen?

He can’t get another job apart from saving the city given the current economic climate and being a superhero he can’t steal money from banks using his powers because that would just make his a super villain.

Furthermore not everyone would see you as a hero would they, in fact you would actually be considered as a masked vigilante roaming the streets under the protection of your mask committing crime, lurking round dark alleys waiting to pounce. On the other hand we have Albert Einstein, easily the cleverest man in the world who’s just discovered a new quantum physics theory. Not only is he going to be rolling in the cash but he will be adored and beloved for his wonderful works which he can take full credit for.

All in all no matter how many people you save there’s always going to be one person who still doesn’t see you as a hero. Moreover you don’t get paid to be a superhero, I mean most of the time you might not even get a thank you, but you are basically working overtime for a job you don’t get paid for which isn’t going to settle well with your bank account as you can’t pay for your groceries with a smiles and gratitude.  Let’s not even mention the unwanted publicity, how would you like it if you were on the front page news, not because you rescued a woman from a burning house or you saved a child from drowning but because you wore your underwear on the wrong way round.

In conclusion it is better to be Einstein rather than Superman because Einstein has his own superpower, a real superpower, one of knowledge. He doesn’t try and save an individual each time, he’s more efficient, he focuses on the need of the world as opposed to the needs of an individual. Einstein doesn’t need the glory and publicity of saving that one individual instead he is perfectly happy to work on his projects for the good of humanity. In addition he doesn’t have any super-villains to slow him down which can only mean two things. One- he has no kryptonite, nothing that can weaken him or two- he’s a pretty nice guy, either way, what’s not to like?
