Hyde park madness
Todays generation can be particularly categorized as being driven by the explosive and contagious pop and entertainment culture , with teenage celebrities and heartthrobs the centre of such excitement.
As fandoms are on the rise, ranging from ’directioners’ to ‘beliebers’ a new fandom  recently swept  London’s Hyde Park on Saturday the 23rd February 2013, in a giddy and excited storm. These fandom members are known as ‘Janoskianators’ who had travelled from far and near to see their dearest idols ,The Janoskians. These group of Australian boys are a comedy group made up of teen members Beau Brooks (19), Daniel Sayounnie (19) Luke brooks (17) Jai Brooks (17) and James Yammouni (17).
The boys are you tube-born stars who have successfully climbed to popularity in the last year for being the fun loving pranksters that they are. So it came by no surprise that once UK fans heard they were to travel to London, hundreds of Janoskianators were in disbelief, shock and excitement.
The boys arrived in London on the 21st February met by a number of fans at Heathrow airport;  security had decided that it was too dangerous to let fans go through. Begrudgingly the boys exited the airport through another secret entrance. Though fans were clearly disappointed high hopes were set for the Hyde park meet and greet with the boys at  on the coming Saturday.
At 2 pm, the park was filled with a huge number of fans chanting in excitement (myself and friends included) in anticipation at the boys arrival. After a minor delay the boys  finally arrived. However, caught in a  frenzy of excitement things began to become less than patient and organised and unfortunately the group  ended up surrounded by a swarm of hyper fans. With health and safety at risk the boys were forced to return promptly to their hotel.

Several fans were left in distraught and many even injured in the excited, police had confirmed there were 10,000 people present and ambulance had been called to treat a number of the injured fans. One of the Janoskians, BeauBrooks was later found to have had a panic attack due to the unexpected large number of fans, it was clear that no one had anticipated the enormous crowd.
