Epsom students are being offered the chance to partake in a netball and rugby tour in South Africa. Blenheim High School has recently announced plans to take school teams from years 10 – 13 to Cape Town in July 2011. 30 students travelled to Malta in October 2007 and due to the massive success, this tour is possible.

The highly anticipated, ten day trip includes many life changing opportunities. One of these is a guided two day safari, something of which many teenagers have dreamt of their whole lives. Also, there are visits to Robben Island and a Cableway Trip to Table Mountain. Finally, the school teams get to play three netball and rugby matches against local South African schools. Surely, this will open the eyes of many students and will, in turn broaden their horizons.

Although the trip is not yet definite, it is a very exciting prospect for students, parents and teachers.
