European week of languages, everybody! Get your bilingual dictionaries out, put on your berets and try out the cheesiest French accent you can think of! No. It's a little bit more than just that.
The time to embrace new cultures is now. Even though we British are very proud, we are also part of a wider community of people that have joined our miniscule island from all the corners of the world.
Put your bangers and mash, your smelly beer-battered fish and chips back into the freezer, because it's time to do something new. Even if it's just a bit - learn about a different culture, hold a small conversation in a foreign language or try cooking a traditional European dish. (For fussy eaters, a simple spag-bol will do)
We don't jave to stop supporting England in footie, or become fluent in Italian; but the little things, like making a bit of an effort make all the difference. You never know, it could be a jolly good laugh!
