Back to the future returns to Epsom Odeon!
The old classic ’Back to the future’ returns to the big screen as a celebration of its 25th anniversary. The science-fiction comedy became such a hit when it was first released on July 3rd 1985 that it became the most successful film of the year. The classic was directed by Robert Zemeckis; written by Zemeckis and Bob Gale; produced by Steven Spielberg and starring Michael J Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson and Crispin Glover. The film tells the story of Marty Mcfly, a teenager who is accidentally sent back in time from 1985 to 1955 where he meets his parents in high school, accidentally attracting his mother’s romantic interest. Marty must repair the damage to history by causing his parents to fall in love, whilst trying to find a way to return to 1985.
‘Back to the future’ was re-released on 1st October 2010 and available to watch in most cinemas, including Epsom. I recommend going and seeing the cult film while it is on the big screen, it is an old classic that people of all ages will enjoy. So why not take the whole family for a barrel of laughs all round?
