Sutton College of Learning for Adults (SCOLA) is again giving people of Sutton, Merton and Croydon the opportunity to study new courses this year from a list of hundreds of subjects ranging from languages to Egyptology.

Previous students' experiences at SCOLA have been extremely positive and they have benefitted from the college tutors' excellent teaching. Past students feel privileged to have met other enthusiastic people they potentially may never have met without SCOLA catering for their shared interests. Megan Chadwick, a keen languages student from St Philomena's High School spoke about becoming a student at the College. "I can't wait. I've wanted to learn Spanish for ages for University and finally I can go to SCOLA outside of school and be proactive about it", she confirmed.

In particular, SCOLA's Graphic Design course has appealed to many learners of all ages and abilities this September due to impressive Apple Mac resources and industry standard tutors. In addition to a full classroom of iMac computers, students will have three hours of free daily computer access in their own TryIT Centre.

Established in 1972, SCOLA is dedicated to its part-time students' education. The college provides good quality courses. In 2009 the college welcomed more than 10,000 learners onto its programmes taking place in Sutton, North Cheam Centre and local schools.
