Authorities have launched a public appeal in the search for a 17-year-old boy missing from Croydon.
David Bamidele was last seen over a week ago; reported missing from his home in Croydon on Monday, June 14.
An appeal published by the Met Police in Croydon and reposted almost 2,000 times on social media so far urged the public to "please help us find David" by calling 101 and quoting reference 21MIS017391 with any information.

Meanwhile the Missing People charity appealed for help online:
"David we are here for you whenever you are ready; we can listen, talk you through what help you need, pass a message for you and help you to be safe.
"Call. Text. 9am-11pm Free. Confidential. 116000," a short statement posted on their website with details about David read.
